By Etienne Mainimo

Graduating students from Giddis Computer Training Center, GCTC Yaounde have been urged to implore critical and creative thinking as they move to the job market.

The message was echoed July 31 in Yaounde by Gilfort Fur Fondzenyuy, Director of the institution during the graduation ceremony of the sixth batch of the establishment.

Fur Fondzenyuy said, for the graduating students to make a difference in the job market, they need to be creative and most importantly, distinguish themselves from others.

“…As you get out into the job market, you need to be very critical and creative in your different departments that you have undergone training. There are many out there like you but with the knowledge that the school has given you, only your hard work will make you different, do not sleep on your laureates but go beyond what you have studied,” Fur Fondzenyuy.

To the students who are still to graduate, the Director encourage them to tighten their belts and know it is through hard work that comes success.

“Graduating students should be a role models and a reason to keep pushing and do better more than your predecessors. I know there will always be difficulties, the more reason for you not to give up. I encourage you to keep aiming high because those who are determined to succeed never give up,” he added.

To Linus Lahka, Board Chair of the institution, told the graduating student to “Remember to be Men and Women of truth and by so doing you will protect your integrity.”

In thanking the school for the knowledge, they have acquired, Christabel Nshom, representative of the students said, GCTC has been an unforgettable journey that has prepared them for the future, whatever it may hold.
