It has been a difficult moment for FAP Amazone as their nightmares in the 2022/2023 football season continue to follow them.
In what they thought was going to be a remarkable playing day against Éclair FF of Sa’a, the story changed as their joy of opening scores in the seventh minute turned sour when they were reduced to 10 women.
In the 19th minute, Éclair of Sa’a balanced the score line and took the lead in the 27th minute through Camilla Daha who benefited from the goalkeeper’s error.
From the locker room, FAP multiplied their chances of balancing the score but was continuously held by Éclair’s defense.
At full-time, the girls from Sa’a had carried the day with a convincing 2-1 win. FAP’s defeat means that they are counting six games since the championship begin without a victory.
They have one point to their credit thanks to a 0-0 tie recorded against AS Awa.
