Qatar2022: Song Hands Wassou Patient First Call-up
Wassou Patient, a 17-year-old former Coton Sport under -17 forward has earned his first call-up with the senior national football team of Cameroon.
This comes after a brilliant show on Sunday’s CAF Champions League game pitting TP Mazembe against Coton Sport watched by Coach Augustine Simo and Souleymanou Hamidou.
The young and vibrant talent emerged overall Best Goal Scorer in 2021scoring five goals in five games, during the Brasseries Easter Cup tournament held in Douala.
His award was handed to him by Rigobert Song.
The latter once joined the Cameroonian under-17 Lions to prepare for the under-17 AFCON in Morocco, but it later did not hold.
The patient is a pure product of the Coton Sport Training Academy.
